Loyiso Bala (born September 22, 1979) is a multi-award-winning South African Gospel musician. The multifaceted personality is best known for being a member of TKZee and the Bala Brothers music groups.

Loyiso has made multiple television appearances. He gained the heart of viewers in the reality competition series Varsity Sing in 2016.

The Gospel artist became the UNAids National Goodwill Ambassador in 2013. With many records of good music as a group member and solo artist, Bala is a force to reckon with in the industry.

Loyiso Bala was born on September 22, 1979, into a musical background. His grandparents and parents are music personalities, while his grandfather composed music.

The background they hail from influenced his love for music. He and his siblings developed an interest and formed a trio – The Bala Brothers. Loyiso has three siblings and is the second-last born of his parents.

The prominent singer studied and matriculated at St. Stithians College. He enrolled for a Bachelor of Music qualification at the University of South Africa. He joined Henley Business School for a post-graduate diploma in business management. 

Career

Loyiso Bala is a 43-year-old singer best known for his affiliation to the kwaito group TKZee and with the trio the Bala Brothers. He has made many appearances on television as a presenter and performer on various shows and events.

The singer performed at the South African Music Awards and the Miss SA 2012. He was a guest artist on the SABC2 musical game show Noot Vir Noot, featuring more than once.

Bala entered seasons one and two of the reality competition series Tropika Island of Treasure in Mauritius and Zanzibar. The performer was among the judges of the kykNET reality competition series Varsity Sing in 2016.
