Early Life and Education

Jamopyper whose real name is Jamiu Damilare Tajudeen was born on the 25th of October 1995, in Egbeda, Lagos State, Nigeria. Despite spending the majority of his childhood in Lagos State, he is originally from Iganna, Oyo State.

Jamopyper attended Topaz Emerald School in Egbeda in Lagos State, Nigeria for his primary education. After completing his primary education, he proceeded to the Millennium Secondary School still in Egbeda where he completed his secondary school education.

Career

Despite growing up to become a mechanical engineer, Jamopyper always had an interest in making music. He was a known performer at the age of 12 and due to the praises he received, he slowly was influenced to chase a career in the arts.

Jamopyper had inspiration from local and international musicians including Akon, Davido, Rihanna, Wizkid, and 9ice amongst others. He grew into the limelight of the Nigerian entertainment industry when he released “Omode Meta” while featuring top musicians, Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile.

Thereafter, he strengthened his presence in the industry when he released a single titled “Josi” also featuring Zlatan Ibile and Chinko Ekun.

Jamopyper continually grew in the music industry and released “Of Lala” which earned the top spot on numerous music video charts. This further resulted in the release of “If No Be You” featuring Mayorkun while earning a lot of love from fans in the music scene.
