Early Life
Dan Moyane was born and raised in South Africa. He attended primary and high school in the country.
After his matriculation, he furthered his study at renowned universities. He grew up in Soweto, a township of the City of Johannesburg.

Dan Moyane attended GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) in 2001. He studied Business Administration and Management at the University of Witwatersrand.

Moyane is a journalist, radio station manager, talk show host, and author. He is also the CEO of Primedia. He is well-known as an anchor on the 24-hour news channel eNCA.
The veteran television personality hosted two episodes of the eNCA talk show, The Big Debate. He has also been in the radio broadcast industry for almost three decades.
Since he joined in 1980, he spent eleven years as a public broadcaster in Mozambique. He worked for almost fifteen years as a private commercial broadcaster in South Africa.
Moyane started as a trainee reporter and climbed to a news editor. Later, he moved from being a newsreader to a talk show host.
From a station manager of 702, he became the executive chairperson of Primedia Broadcasting.
Dan also worked for the British Broadcasting Corporation, as a freelance journalist, from 1985 to 1991. In July 2013, he started working at eNCA as a news anchor.
The media personality works at Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited as a Strategic Marketing Consultant. He joined the company as a Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility Executive.
In July 2018, Dan became the Chairman of the independent South African PR consultancy – AceCubePR. He was the Executive Chairman of Primedia Broadcasting from 2002 to 2008.
