Thulisile Madihlaba (born October 6, 1986), known as Chomee, is a South African dancer, musician, and choreographer. She is famous for her choreography videos and performances.

The Kwaito musician’s display of killer dance moves on stage has gained her more audience, fans, and the nickname Queen of Dance. She has been in the music industry for many years and has built a career for herself.

Music producer Arthur Mofokate discovered Chomee, who became a child star with time. She entered the music scene at a tender age as one of his dancers.

Early Life

Chomee was born on October 6, 1986, and hails from Dlamini, Zone 10, in Meadowlands, Soweto. Her parents named her Thulisile Madihlaba, raised her, and taught her respect. 

Sadly, her father, Bheki Ncube, died in November 2018. She had a close relationship with him. 


Chomee attended Noordgesig Secondary School. After matric, she enrolled to study Media part-time at Boston Media House.


Chomee has been a familiar face with music lovers since she was ten. After Arthur Mafokate discovered her, he signed her to his 999 Music, and she has dropped many albums under the label.

The musician released the album Twice as Nice, Songstress, Queen of Dance, First Time, and Fantasy. She has dropped several hit songs like Jiva Sexy, Dlala nge Figure, Cried all my Tears, Uthando Lwakho, and Stranger, among others.

Chomee judged the SABC1 dance reality competition Turn It Out in 2011 and 2012.

The multifaced personality has also tried acting and appeared in the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango. She played famous socialite Ms Chichi and made her debut in October 2013. featured her and other celebrities – iFani and Kelly Khumalo – on their reality series Reality Check in 2015. She is the first woman on the board of the premier music conference and exhibition, Moshito.

Thulisile became a South African Arts and Development Association board member at the Moshito music conference and exhibition. 

After she left 999 Music, Chomee started a record company Divatainment. She released the album Do More Squats, with the hit single Zozela Zalala, under her label.

Personal Life

Chomee was dating her former producer, Arthur Mafokate. After her musical comeback, many thought she was back in the arms of her former lover.

The talented dancer got herself a black BMW car in 2021. According to Daily Sun, she bought herself a car after National Art Council approved a payment of R2 million to her company Divatainment.
