Biography

Mmabogoshi Bellah Msiza is a South African-born businesswoman. She is best known as the wife of the business magnate Danny Msiza, who owns properties around Limpopo.

Bellah worked as the chairwoman of the Business Woman Association of South Africa. Although she hails from a rural part of the country, she has grown to be successful in her craft.

Many women within and outside Limpopo draw inspiration from her. She is a role model for women who comes from small villages.

Early Life

Bellah Msiza was born in Mahwelereng Mokopane in Limpopo Province to a humble family. Growing up in the dusty street of Mahwelereng Mokopane left her with many experiences that she misses to date. 

Personal Life

Bellah Msiza is married to Danny Msiza, a businessperson and politician. The couple is proud parents of five children. 

The prominent businesswoman has two siblings, a brother Maribolla Simon Mphahlele and a sister Tebogo Matlala.

Mmabogoshi is happy to have married Danny and says he is loving, caring, great, and a friend. Apart from her husband and family, she loves her body. 

To be in shape, Bellah goes to the gym every week. During her free time, she reads or spends time in solitude connecting with her inner core. She is an enthusiastic hobbyist of Bonsai trees and belief that a person can’t be a leader if they can’t lead themselves.

Education

Bellah Msiza attended Makgoka High School in Boyne. After matric in 1992, she enrolled for a BA in public administration at the University of the Western Cape.

After graduating, she went on to study for a BCom Accounting degree at the University of Witwatersrand. She also holds a practical audit certificate from Anderson Consulting.

Msiza obtained a certificate in project management from Damelin College. She acquired a Goldman Sachs 10 000 Women Entrepreneurship Programme certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Career

In 2016, she started working as the Chairperson of the Businesswomen Association of South Africa, Limpopo Region. In 2017, she became the executive member of the Polokwane Tourism Association. 

Msiza was also a member of the Adjudication Committee of Standard Bank Top Women Awards Limpopo. She was also part of the Adjudication Committee of Lilizela Tourism Adjudication Committee.

From 2014 to 2017, she was the Treasurer of the Limpopo First Lady Trust.

Awards

Mmabogoshi is a multi-award winner with over nine provincial, local, and continental awards.

In 2017, she took 3rd place at the Lilizela Tourism Award, South African Tourism. She also won the Lilizela Tourism Award, South African Tourism, in 2017.
