Biography
Kay Bikitsha is a South African actress. She is best known for playing Nozuko in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gqeberha: The Empire.
The young actress has also appeared in other television shows and productions. She played Siyamthanda in season seven of the soap opera The Queen. More of her acting credit is as 2 Sly in season one of Umbuso.

Early Life
Kay Bikitsha was born Kamvelihle Bikitsha in Mthatha but grew up in KuGatyana in Willowvale, Eastern Cape. Her grandmother, who raised her, sold sweets.
Since her grandmother refused to hand it to her for free, she would cry and roll on the floor. Her grandma would always feel sorry and console her with sweets. Without knowing, she was honing her acting skills. Eventually, she started to mimic characters on television.
Education
Kay Bikitsha went for drama lessons in Grade 6. She attended the Gonubie Primary School.
In Grade 7, she played Shakespeare’s, Lady Macbeth. She wrote, directed, and produced for the Xhosa Cultural Society and Ubuntu Cultural Society at Stirling High School.
Kay studies BCom in Marketing Management at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). She enrolled in the university in 2021.
Career
Bikitsha has appeared in many television drama series and soap operas. She played a teenager named 2 Sly in season one of the Mzansi Magic drama series Umbuso. Though it was her debut role on set, she left an outstanding performance.
The series premiered on April 3, 2022, when she debuted on the show. Her performance earned her a recurring role in the final season of the Mzansi Magic soap opera The Queen.
Kay played Siya in Episode 26, Season 7 of the soap opera aired. In 2023, the actress got her first starring role on TV. She made it as a cast member of the new series Gqeberha: The Empire. She is one of the wives, Nozuko Mxenge, in a polygamous marriage. The series premiered on January 16, 2023.
