The actress brought the character to life on the show. Playing Mbali in The River was her debut role.

Early Life
Zenokuhle Maseko was born on February 2, 1998, in Benoni, a town in Ekurhuleni municipality, Gauteng. She grew up and attended Gauteng-based schools.
In search of greener pastures, she relocated to the capital of Gauteng – Johannesburg.
Education
Zeno attended Benoni High school and loved drama as a student. She was part of the drama club and was in many school dramas.
The actress went to many acting classes and took acting seriously. Maseko chose other side hustles – modeling and photography. She and her friends created Our Page Photography.

Zenokuhle is a newbie in the television and film industry, but she stands out with her outstanding performance. She starred as Mbali in the television series The River.
Playing Mbali was her debut role, but she displayed first-class acting skills on the show, right? The River is a ten awards recipient at the 2020 SAFTA.

She appeared among other hopefuls on the day of the audition and went in for the role of Faith. But after watching her perform, the judges decided that she would fit Mbali.
In 2020, she left the telenovela after her character died a tragic death. It shocked many viewers of the show, and it was one of the most emotional scenes of The River.
