Benny Mayengani (born Bennet Skheto Baloyi; 11th January 1978 in Limpopo) is a South African artist and politician.
He has grown to be among the list of the most prominent Xitsonga artists in the country.
The artist has dropped hit songs that made waves in the South African music industry.
His career did not end in the entertainment scene, rather he entered into politics making him grow strong.

He has collaborated with many heavyweights in the music industry. He was worked with Mr. Jambatani, Prince Ranghani, Joe Shirimani, and Vana Va Ndoda.
At the Xitsonga Music Awards, he received nominations for three (3) awards in 2013.
He was nominated for ‘Best Xitsonga Male Artist’, ‘Best Xitsonga Popular Song of the Year’, and ‘Best Xitsonga Album of the Year’.
In 2016, Benny made history and became the first Tsonga musician to be an official of the Johannesburg Chamber.
He occupied the position of PR Councilor for Johannesburg city under the Economic Freedom Fighters. After three years of service, in 2019, he quit the position.
In February the following year, 2020, he joined the African National Congress. He was being welcomed by Stanley Chupu Mathabatha, ANC Limpopo chair.
