Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize has confirmed South Africa has reached 11 350 cases and 206 deaths. He further noted the 698 case increase in the country on Tuesday.
Mkhize made it known in a statement issued by the Health Ministry that SA has recorded 11 350 confirmed cases.
The minister also said that the nation has also lost 206 to the pandemic as it battles against coronavirus.
The Western Cape province remains at the top of the chart after the number of cases increased to 6 105.
Motshekga is to announce the finalized plan for the reopening of schools. Basic Education Minister announced that she will reveal the date schools are to reopen officially.
Following a statement released by the department, she committed to addressing South Africa on Thursday.
