Earlier this week, it was reported that the South African Former president, Jacob Zuma, was hospitalised for an unknown illness.
The politician and ex-president spent his last weekdays in a Durban hospital. He was admitted for a mystery illness.
According to a report by IOL, Zuma had learned of his most recent court failure in his hospital bed only to be discharged on Thursday.
Also, the Jacob Zuma Foundation confirmed that the ex-president was admitted but failed to give an indication of what was ailing the politician.
Thenation.co.za reported that the “Pietermaritzburg High Court had dismissed Zuma’s application to appeal an earlier ruling in favor of former tourism minister Derek Hanekom”
“Hanekom had won his defamation charges against Zuma, who had accused him of colluding with apartheid forces.
“Zuma had bowed out of his expected Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture appearance, citing his illness as the reason why.”
