Another actor has left the popular Mzansi TV show, Isibaya, in a little space of time. Based on the reports Pallance Dladla, who plays the role of Jabulani Zungu, has waved the show goodbye.
Reports covered that the actor refused to report for duty and as a result, his role has been removed from the show.
“Pallance stopped reporting for duty before the national lockdown. His role was scrapped and they are busy planning an exit.
“From last month, Pallance was not reporting for duty, which prompted producers of the show to come up with new ideas to cover his part”, said the source.
He stopped showing up even before the lockdown. From last month, he did not report for duty and this made the producers of the award-winning show develop new ideas to cover his part.
Although Karabo Maroga, Isibaya publicist, proved the claims to be wrong and said that the actor requested a break.
“Pallance requested a break to go to the US for March and April to do an acting course and explore his international contacts. He did a similar thing in 2019,” He said.
He further said that Pallance is expected to resume work in May but following the corona-virus pandemic, these plans are on hold.
Pallance is not the only actor to leave the award-winning show this year, Nomzamo Mbatha, Jessica Nkosi and Menzi Ngubane have also left.
