Jacob Zuma, ex-president of South Africa, and his fiance Nonkanyiso Conco have called their relationship a quit.
Their separation is alleged to have happened in late 2019. The Zumas gave her a concrete warning not to issue a word about it to the media.
Nonkanyiso has deleted any picture that contained her and the former president from her account on Instagram.
The status of their relationship had another look after the 25-year-old post seemed to accuse Jacob Zuma of being an absent father.
They have a son who is 2 years old but Msholozi is never around, she is left to do the parenting duties all by her self.
Later, she denied laying any accusation on him of being a deadbeat father although she regarded herself as a single mum.
She went further to defend him and said that he makes time herself and their son, whenever there is an opportunity.
The story first appeared on City Press after communicating with sources who made the confirmation on the split.
According to their sources, Nonkanyiso packed out from the house they rented near Ballito, Durban. Payment for the house was made by the former president.
The publication further contacted the guards at the rented house. They confirmed her evacuation from the premises in late 2019.
They also alleged that Fartescue, her father, is aware of the separation. Though, he has long contacted his daughter since he lost contact with her.
“She blocked me on all her contacts, but I know that she does not stay in Ballito any more. I wish she would come back home if Zuma is no longer able to maintain her,” the father said.
He also knew that Nonkanyiso has been staying with her mother in the Eastern Cape.
“The split was put under wraps. Nonkanyiso received a strong warning from the Zumas that she must not reveal the separation, to avoid media attention,” a source told the publication.
