Judging by the look of things Idol SA, a show where singers compete to go home as the best singer, seems to be making its return.
Though the stress that follows the lockdown might have made many to forget about the show.
The good news is that Idol SA will soon return to the screen in a few months.
Auditions for the singing competition held earlier this month but the COVID-19 trend made it seem to have held last year.
Somizi Mhlongo, a popular media personality and one of the judges on the show, has brought a glimpse of what he would be wearing on the show.
As the show prepares for a fresh season, Somzi also prepares for the outfits he would put on the show. Viewers of the show can testify that Somizi always vows the viewers with his outfits.
He shared a video on social media and said, “It’s lockdown and I’ve been struggling with outfits for my shoots.
“I realized that we are coming closer to the live performances of Idols season 16 and I was like, what am I going to do differently this time in terms of my outfits.”
Later he concluded that he would hand over to young and upcoming designers.
“Even if you’re not upcoming and you’re a designer who needs exposure.
“I thought let me invite fashion designers that would work around my personality”, said Somizi.
He further explained that the outfits should say Somgaga and also explained in details of his designs of interest.
Somizi pointed out the process that would take place for the designs to be selected.
