Vuyiseka Cawe (born August 1, 1987) is a South African actress and model. She is best known for appearing in many local television soap operas like The Queen and Imbewu: The Seed.
Cawe played Listerina, a woman who plotted revenge against her husband’s mistress on The Queen. In 2019, she joined the E.tv soap opera Imbewu as Nokuzola Ndamase.

Early Life
Vuyiseka Cawe was born on August 1, 1987, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Her grandmother and her single mother raised her and her siblings.Â
The actress took part in many plays and art projects in her community. In search of greener pastures, Vuyiseka Cawe relocated to Johannesburg.
Sadly, in 2016, her mother died, and four days later, she lost her grandmother to a kidney-related illness. Her grandmother had assisted with taking care of her siblings.
After the demise of her mother and grandmother, the baton of catering for her three siblings got to her. She returned to Port Elizabeth to take care of them.
Education
Vuyiseka Cawe studied performance at the Duma Ndlovu Actors Academy.
Career
After her studies, she kicked off acting full-time and worked with the Themba Interactive Theatre Group. Cawe took industrial across less-privileged areas of South Africa.
Vuyiseka appeared in soap operas and serials like Generations: The Legacy, Rockville, and Ekasi Stories.
Cawe also appeared in The Great Mistake, The Game by Duma Ndlovu, and Rhythm City. While acting full-time, she did modeling as a side hustle. She later returned to the screen on Imbewu.
Personal Life
After the death of her biological mother and grandmother, she took full responsibility for her siblings.
Her mother died in her sleep. She catered to the academic needs of her siblings and tried to fill the gaps their parents’ death created.
Cawe joggled her work as an actress and being her siblings’ guardian. She has not disclosed to any publication the identity of her husband in real life nor her marital status.

Vuyiseka Cawe made headlines after her aunt disowned her because of the shenanigans of Nokuzola on the ETV drama. Her character is troubled and keeps secrets from her fiancé.
Nokuzola is also in a secret relationship with her fiancé’s brother and aborted a child. Among all this, her aunt got annoyed after she kissed his ex.
Her aunt Naki is a Christian and also a disciplinarian. In anger, Naki reprimanded her for embarrassing the Cawe family with her shenanigans in the drama.
Naki claimed that in her place of worship, her friends and neighbors gossiped about what she does in the show.
