Ngcobo had tried music with her siblings after they formed the group Amaponi.

Early Life

Vusiwe Ngcobo was born on September 26, 1988, in Johannesburg, the capital of Gauteng, South Africa. She grew up in a music family, her parents are veteran music personalities.

Her parents Bheki Ngcobo and Linah Khama formed the music duo Ihashi Elimhlophe. Her father’s stage name is White horse while her mother’s stage name is Ebony. 

The music duo is among the best in the country. Her sister Ntombi Ngcobo is a television and radio personality. As a presenter, she is behind local hit shows like Come Again and Uyajola 9/9.

Vusiwe Ngcobo studied in primary and secondary school in South Africa. She holds a Law degree from the University of Johannesburg and obtained an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. 



Vusiwe is a musician, live performance artist, and TV presenter. Ngcobo created a music group with her siblings’ named Amaponi, meaning baby horses in 2018.

They dropped their debut album the same year and have released more since then.
