Bahumi Madisakwane Mhlongo (born February 9, 1995) is a South African media personality and actress. She is the only daughter of the television presenter and actor Somizi Mhlongo.

The 28-year-old entered the media industry like her parents. Somizi and his baby mama guided and supported Bahumi as she journeyed into the industry.

Bahumi Mhlongo appeared in the 2019 biopic The Lebo Mathosa Story as young Lebo Mathosa. Though she is the daughter of the legendary television personality Somizi, she is making a name for herself.

Bahumi Mhlongo was born on February 9, 1995, in South Africa. She comes from a family of entertainers. 

Her father, mother, and grandparents are veteran personalities in the entertainment industry. Madisakwane has been in the limelight all her life. 


Mhlongo studied in primary and secondary schools in South Africa. After matriculation, Mhlongo received a scholarship to The New York Film Academy for a Film Producing degree, but decline and went into Law.
