Tumisho Masha (born 14 August 1975) is a South African actor and presenter. He is popular with many TV viewers for playing the role of Dumisani Thusong in Isidingo.
He holds the record as the first actor of African descent to play the role of Nelson Mandela in the 2014 International film Mandela’s Gun.
He has also landed several starring roles on the screen including in international film projects.
Tumisho starred in the international movie Silent Witness and No1 Ladies detective agency.
As an award-winning actor, he received a Best Actor Award in the South African Film and Television award in 2012. He took the award in recognition of his role in The Wild, an MNET drama.

Career
He is best known for being a cast member of the soap opera Isidingo playing the role of Dumisani Thusong. As a television presenter, he does the presenting for Top Billing, a magazine show.
Tumisho landed a starring role of Modise Tladi a well principled younger brother of Itumeleng in The Wild. Appearing on the M-Net soapie for two years (2011-2013) brought him to the limelight.
He is also the face behind the portrayal of Dr, Zanemvula ‘Zane’ Jara in JoziH. He appeared in the Canadian/South African medical drama series in 2007.
He was also cast in the drama series Gaz’lam and also appeared in the mini-series Society.
Appearing in made-for-television-movies topped including Dir. Lucille in 2000, Coup! in 2006, and Red Water in 2003 added to his on-screen roles.
In 2003, Masha was also cast in Beyond Borders, His role as Can Temba in Drum followed in 2004.

Private Life

Tumisho Masha is married to Chantel Wagner and they are parents to an adorable daughter together named Zinathi.
Though he had previously married his ex-wife Zozibini Mtonga. He saw himself making headlines following their divorce in 2016.
The divorce followed charges of accusations of physical abuse by his ex-wife.
She claimed that Tumisho slapped her, straggled her, and even smashed her cellphone against the wall.
However, the snaps he shares on his social media profile show he is enjoying his newly found love life.
