Thembi Seete (born on 25 March 1977 in Soweto) is a South African presenter, an actor, and a singer. She was a member of the Kwaito Supergroup Boom Shaka.
She was a part of a singing group, but after the group split, she went solo.
Thembi has landed several gigs, she was the host on several TV shows and was a radio presenter.

She is known to many as a member of the kwaito supergroup Boom Shaka for six years (1994-2000).
She decided to launch a solo career after the group split. Thembi portrayed a minor role in the movie Hijack Stories (2000).
She also appeared first in the controversial series Yizo Yizo, an SABC1 drama series.
Thembi is the voice behind the popular track ‘Sure Ntombazana’ for the soundtrack to Yizo Yizo 2.
This became ‘a stepping stone for her music career’. She dropped her first solo album in 2001 titled ‘Lollipop’, this made waves in the music scene.
The first album was a success, the second album Smatsatsa also was a shake in the entertainment industry.
It housed hit tracks including ‘Shayi Zandla’ and ‘Mphate Kahle’. Thembi landed a role at Gaz’lam, an SABC1 drama series for four years (2000-2004).
In 2005, she portrayed the role of Pumla in the American movie ‘Crossing the Line’.
The following year, in 2006, she landed the leading role of Nina Moloi in Zone 14, an SABC1 soccer drama series. She appeared in four (4) seasons of the show.
She also appeared in Rhythm City and portrayed the role of Bongi. Thembi appeared in Jika Majika for ten seasons until 2012.
Thembi is the brand ambassador for Ponds SA and little wonder why her skin glows all the time.
