Thapelo Mokoena (born 21 October 1982 in KwaZulu-Natal) is a South African actor and presenter. He has entertained television viewers for years now with his acting roles.
Among his popular acting roles in season one of the Mzansi version of the reality competition Fear Fear.

Background
He was born Thapelo Archibald Sfufane Mokoena on 21 October 1982. His mother gave birth to him under a tree 22 km from the nearest hospital in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
He hails from a family of mixed ethnicity, his dad is Sotho and his mum is Zulu.
Education
He built the foundation of his academics in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal. Mokoena furthered at a higher institution in Johannesburg to study accounting.
He left his studies in pursuit of a study filmmaking. After graduating from film school he landed a role in a South African soap opera.
Career
He was cast in the SABC1 soap opera Generations as the bodyguard of Karabo Moraka (played by Connie Ferguson).
Mokoena landed the role of Vusi in Mzansi in 2006. He continued from where Fezile Mpela stopped for season 2 of the SABC1 drama series.
In the same year, 2006, he appeared in season one of Fear Factor South Africa as the presenter. Lungile Radu replaced him in season 2 of the show aired on e.tv. He left the show for a British TV series he was filming.
In season 3 of the SABC1 drama series Mtunzini.com, he took over as the lead character Bongani Thwala replacing Pepi Khambule.
He landed the role as the host of season 2 of Rize Mzansi, an SABC1 reality competition.
He appeared among the celebrities who entered the SABC3 reality competition 2013 Strictly Come Dancing. Mokoena became the host of the e.tv reality makeover series Sinawe72 in 2014.

The renowned actor is married to Lesego-Tshepang Mokoena. He exchanged marital vows with his wife in November 2012. He never fails to credit his wife for being there for him.
Their marriage is blessed with two sons, they had their first child Reko in 2015. After three years, they welcomed another son Lefika Meraki Mokoena.
