She boasts of over half a decade years of experience in journalism. Sharon specifically focuses her coverage on education, children’s affairs, and human interest features.
She also produces documentaries and features that advocate for children’s right to education.

She attended the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Communication.
Sharon is an alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship. It is a flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative started by President Barack Obama.
She has taken home awards both from the local and international scene.
Lately, she was named one of the best in “Visual Reporting for Early Childhood Development” from the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ).
She boasts of over five (5) years of experience in journalism. Sharon has a special focus on covering environment, education, and human interest features.
