Miss South Africa 2016 (born Ntandoyenkosi Kunene; 18 April 1992) is a South African model. She is from Mkhondo, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Ntandoyenkosi Kunene holds a Degree in B. Ed and Honors in Curriculum Issues.

On 19 March 2016, Miss South Africa was held at Carnival City´s Big Top Arena. Twelve (12) contestants from different provinces participated competed for the title.
She was crowned Miss South Africa 2016 by the former and outgoing titleholder, winner of Miss South Africa 2015.
She represented her country, South Africa, at the Miss Universe 2016 and Miss World 2016 pageants.e
At the age of four (4), she began her career in modeling, she then won the title as Miss Raindrop during a local festival held back home.
At the time she was six (6), she then knew that this would be part of her life.
“I remember watching Miss South Africa since I was six when Kerishnee Naicker was still Miss SA and I knew that one day I would be there,” she recalls.
“Since I turned 18, I started sending in my applications for Miss SA and I was never chosen…then in 2014 I made it through to the Top 33 and when I didn’t get any further I was heartbroken but it drove me to keep on.”
She grew up in a township with her father, a bookkeeper, and her mother, a broker opened a tuckshop which is still open till today.
She gives lots of credits to the encouragement, love, and supports she received from her parents, five siblings, family, and community.
At a young age,11, her mother registered her at a modeling school to help to groom her and play an important role in achieving her reality of today.
Her date of birth is on April 18, 1992, while her place of birth is Mkhondo, Mpumalanga. Ntandoyenkosi Kunene is 28 years old (2020).
She is married to Khaya Mthethwa, Idols SA winner in a colorful traditional wedding in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.
