Musa was born Musa Makamu in Giyani. He is the eldest of two children and has always been creative from birth.

Although he hails from a humble beginning and did not have all he wanted as a child. To cover the gap, he had to work to get what he wanted.

On 19 November 2021, he added to the number of albums with Tayo. It houses tracks like Selema (Po Po), Abekho, and Vula Mlomo (Radio Edit). The album means “source of joy”.

His work has taken him out of the shores of South Africa. The artist has toured other countries in Africa like Tanzania and Ghana. He held his debut international show in Ghana.
