He discovered his talent as a child and decided to put it to use at a young age.
At the age other kids rather play with toys, he had already begun to compose songs. During the early years of his life, he held performances on the songs at musicals and local shows.
In a bid to gain more experience and exposure, Murdah Bongz became a singer in the choir in his church. He did learn to play many instruments and developed his skills as a music composer and vocalist.
His music journey became even smoother after he connected with the popular singer Thabo Mabogwane.

At the moment, he lives in his beautiful apartment in Pretoria, South Africa. He owns and drives many cars of luxury including a Mercedes Benz series.
