Mr Brown (born Lynol Siwela on 5 February 1990 in Gweru) is a Zimbabwean-born South African artist. He is a popular producer, singer, and songwriter. The “unsung creative genius” is based in South Africa.
He is the brain behind several big hits from Limpopo’s house music genre. Mr Brown has been a co-producer in several hits including Master KG’s Skeleton Move.

He used his computer and some music software to expand his knowledge in the field. He did music together with friends in his bedroom.
Together, they formed a musical group, Muungu Africa. The group later dropped a song that made waves in South Africa, Lazaro.
As a producer, he has many hit songs that made waves in the country’s music scene to his name. He co-produced the popular song by Master KG titled Skeleton Move.
Waya Waya a song by Team Mosha and the hit Xola Moya Wam by Nomcebo Zikode was also co-produced by him.
As an artist, he was featured in the Makhadzi’s hit single titled Murahu, a song he produced. According to him, Limpopo heavily influenced him.
He has been active in the industry for over a decade and six years now. Though his experience fed on the knowledge he acquired through teaching himself online.
The journey began with him during his teenage days when he played around with the software of music production FL Studio. Then he learned the fundamental skills to engineer music.
His span of experience grew following the virtual tutorials he received on YouTube. Among one those who taught him was Grammy-winning American record producer Tony Maserati, his favorite.
The release of his album Rain on Me marked the launch of his solo career in music. Master KG, Zanda Zakuza, and Makhadzi were among the artist featured.
The album housed several songs including the Love song Uthando Lwami. He is making a name for himself in his solo music career.
Mr Brown is active on social media where he shares an update with fans and followers. On his IG account Mr Brown SA, has over seven thousand, two hundred thousand followers.
The platform has also created an opportunity for him to update fans and followers on his projects.
