Early Life

Moozlie was born on September 22, 1987, in a town in Ekurhuleni municipality called Benoni. Her parents both played a huge role in her upbringing as they contributed the best they could afford.

She grew up under their care in Benoni along with her older sister, who Moozlie says is her biggest fan.

Education

She had her academic pursuit in prestigious institutions both at the primary and high school level. At St Dunstan’s College, she had her studies and eventually matriculated.

She furthered her academic pursuit and enrolled for a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences. In 2012, she left her studies for MTV Base VJ search.

Career

The celebrated figure is notable for the contributions she has done so far in the entertainment industry. She made her debut appearance on television in 2012 after MTV Base selected her for their VJ search.

She appeared among and beat other hopefuls who also sought the position. She remained with them for four years and simultaneously, she worked on her music career. 

After spending 4 years with MTV Base, Moozlie moved to Vuzu, Channel O in 2016. She has done excellent work so far no doubt, many sites rated her among the “Best Presenters for the Vuzu show and V-Entertainment”.

She has also had the opportunity of working with other notable, celebrated, and influential personalities in the entertainment industry. Among others, she has worked alongside Somgaga, aka. Somizi Mhlongo.

Two years into her debut appearance on television, she officially began her musical journey. In 2014, she signed was under the record label Cashtime Records owned by K.O.

 She started hugely and also was featured on Mbongo Zaka, a song by Rouge. In 2016, that’s around two years later, Moozlie left Cashtime Life Records. 

In the year that followed, in 2017, her first mixtape followed which she titled Versus. It housed many singles like Getting Cash, Bum Bum feat. Gemini Major, Recipe.

She continued to entertain music lovers with her style of music. Her debut album was released in September 2018. After two years, she dropped another album and titled it I’m a Star (2020).

Even after leaving the record label, she has continued to do well with her songs. She is also a content creator and uses YouTube and other social media platforms to gain her reach.

Moozlie has also had the opportunity of working with the legendry rapper AKA. She has also had the chance of working with the celebrated Zocci.

As a fashionista, Moozlie has decided to take it a step further. She released her debut collection collaborating with Silva Lux.
