Moliehi Makobane (born 17 August 1989 in Maseru, Lesotho) is a South African actress. She has appeared in many television serials which have shot her into the limelight.

Among her best-known roles is the starring role of Thuli Mabena in Mzansi Love: Kasi Style.

She has appeared in several other television serials like eKasi: Our Stories (Pearl), Imposter (Mabotse), and iNkaba (Nthabiseng).

She was also a cast in Intersexions (Bontle), Ka Ba Bolelletse (Pinky), and Keeping Score (Botho Mohapi).

More acting credits include Muvhango (Maureen), season 1-3 of Zabalaza (Precious), The Estate (Tsholofelo Tau).

Moliehi Makobane was born on 17 August 1989 in Maseru, the largest city of Lesotho. She was raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. 

She developed an interest in acting from a very young age. Her love for art drove her to pursue a related program in higher institutions.

Moliehi Makobane graduated with a BA Dramatic Arts Honours degree from Wits University. 

She had her high school academic pursuit at the National School of the Arts. There she studied drama.

She furthered at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits University). Moliehi graduated with a BA Dramatic Arts Honours degree. 


She is well known for playing the starring role of Thuli Mabena in the anthology series Mzansi Love: Kasi Style.

She made her television debut in 2011 in the episode “Abafelokazi” of the anthology series, eKasi: Our Stories. She was cast as Pearl, a supporting role.

As a director, she is the brain behind her first play Us – A Room Full of Women. 

In 2013, she landed a starring role in season 2 of Intersexion, an SABC1 drama series. In the year that followed, Moliehi had another starring role in Sticks and Stones, an SABC1 drama series.

She appeared in the first to the third season of Zabalaza (2013) playing the role of Precious. She was cast in the SABC2 comedy serials The Bantu Hour.

On the telenovela broadcast on SABC2 and SABC3, Keeping Score, she was cast as Botho Mohapi.

Moliehi also appeared in season one of Lithapo, a telenovela broadcast on SABC2, as Mantwa. She appeared in the first season of Muvhango as Maureen.
