The Nation gathered that a close companion had addressed the prominent TV star on Wednesday. According to her, she appeared “languid”. The cause of her death has not been affirmed.

Her last tweet on social media, which she dropped around 7 pm on Wednesday read: “Love you, Des. The very best!”

In 2004, she got a job as a television host for the SABC2 program. She was the host of the well-known television show The Real Gaboza in 2008.
