Kagiso Lediga (born 6 May 1978) is an award-winning South African Actor, and filmmaker. He also writes and does comedy. As a producer, one of his notable works is the Netflix crime drama, Queen Sono.

The popular show was released by the production company in February 2020. His works are visible in the television comedy series the cult classic The Pure Monate Show. He takes credit as the writer and director of the show.

Other television shows credits include the Bantu Hour, Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola. As an actor, he has played lead roles in many movies.

Some of his acting credits include Wonder Boy for President, Bunny Chow, and Catching Feelings. He holds the record as one of the first black man comedians in South Africa.

The celebrated filmmaker was born on 6 May 1978. His place of birth is in Pretoria, South Africa. However, he relocated to Cape Town in 1995 because of his studies in a higher institution.


He studied at the University of Cape Town (UCT), where he studied for a degree in English and Drama.
