Jo-Anne Reyneke (born 2 June 1988 in Vereeniging, Gauteng) is a South African actress. Gaining her prominence is her role as Pearl in Muvhango, an SABC2 serial. She is also known for being cast as Prudence Oliphant in Rhythm City on e.tv.
The stunning and ever-young-looking actress has built herself a name. She boasts of over thirteen years in the entertainment industry.

Background
Jo-anne was born on 2 June 1988 in Vereeniging, Gauteng, South Africa into a mixed family. Her father was white while her mother is black of Zulu descent.
She grew up under the parental care of her mother at Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. She has little knowledge of her father since she did not get to meet him when he was alive.
Her interest in performing arts dates back to her days as a young child. The interest was strong and pushed her into schooling for it. She then began to gain experience and exposure in high school and today is paying off.
Education
Jo-anne had her high school education at Russell High School, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. After developing an interest in drama and the performing arts, she decided to study it.
She studied performing and music at Movietech Film and Television School, Durban.
Husband
She was married to Thami Mngqolo, an actor who has appeared in many television serials including Generations. The couple exchanged their marital vows in 2008.
Their union is blessed with two children, in 2013 they welcomed Uvolwethu and Lungelo 2015. Their union ended in 2018 after a decade of marriage following a divorce.
Career

She is best known for playing the role of Pearl on Muvhango and in Rhythm City, she appeared as Prudence Oliphant.
Jo-anne kicked off her acting profession at The Playhouse Company in Durban and appeared in the play The Game.
She was cast in Intersexions, an SABC1 drama serial, in two episodes as Layla in 2013. For 2 years, she played the starring role of Busi Duma in High Rollers. She appeared in the SABC3 soap opera in the second and third seasons (2015-2017).
For a year, she was cast in a starring role in Broken Vows as Thandi. Her character is the adopted daughter of the Moswane family in the e.tv telenovela (2017-2018).
Still, in 2018, she landed another starring role of Sli in Side Dish, an SABC1 ministry. In October 2018, she joined the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo playing the role of Lungi Biyela.
In 2020, she played the starring role of Thuli Dlamini in Black Tax, BET’s sitcom. In Isino: The Sin, a telenovela, she was cast as Angelina Duma.
Still, in 2020, she made her first appearance on Generations: The Legacy. She plays the role of Refilwe Zungu, the charming stepdaughter of Walter Nkaba (Nimrod Nkosi).
