Jeffrey Sekele (born 20 August 1973 in Leeufontein) is a South African actor and voice artist. He has appeared in many television serials which have gained him prominence.

Many Mzansi television viewers know him for playing the role of Police Detective in the drama Zero Tolerance.

The Police Procedural was aired on SABC2, SABC3, and SABC Encore. Adding to his tally is the role of Blade in isibaya. 

He is one of the long-lasting actors on the Mzansi Magic telenovela after appearing on the show from season 2 to season 8.

The popular actor was born Jeffrey Sekele on 20 August 1973 in Leeufontein, close to Marble Hall in Limpopo, South Africa. He has is not a new face in the entertainment circle and boasts over twenty-two years of experience.


Listening to the actor on screen would give you the idea that he is learned. He studied at and graduated from Technikon Pretoria and kicked off his acting profession in 1999.


The actor has appeared in many television roles and serials. He was cast as Police Officer in the drama, education series on SABC Gaz’lam.

In the anthology series aired on SABC2, Mzansi Wethu – Heartlines, he played the role of Ditch Foreman.

More on his acting credit is appearing in Soul Buddyz, Jozi-H, Unsung Heroes, Muvhango, Strike Back, Jacob’s Cross, and End Game.

He has also appeared in many feature films like Jerusalema and the thriller 48 as Fistaz Mphahlele.
