Ike was accused by the state of sharing a series of videos of his profiles on Social media that led to the public protesting against politicians. On 4 August 2021, the advocate applied for bail at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.

He was granted bail of R3,000 and was expected to temporarily prevent the use of his profiles on social media. He was to avoid being part of illegal gatherings and make sure he pays a visit to a local police station once a week.
