Holly Rey (born Holly Wasserfall; KwaZulu-Natal, Durban) is a South African Musician. Her latest single she titled Deeper is a great track and has become her single style.

She started about eight (8) years ago and since then has become famous following her music style and talent. In the local scene, Holly has made herself a name.
Her real name is Holly Wasserfall while her place of birth was in KwaZulu-Natal, Durban. According to IOL, Holly Rey is 23 years old (2019).
She graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with an Honours degree in Media and Communication, cum laude.
On her graduation, she was happy about graduating which was the product of the effort she had put in the past year.
She went on to say that sometimes it was difficult to balance studies and music. She was able to strike a balance following the time she made and advice she received from lecturers.
Her latest work and single, Deeper, is the current trend in the country and is amplified by the uncomplicated vocals that are now her style.
Deeper as a song has a commercial appeal and trust me you will want to move your body upon hearing the song. The song will definitely make you feel good.
This song is a current hit on a few top South African radio stations. Holly made her source of inspiration known and shares in an interview section.
“Most of my songs are about what it means to be a young woman in love.
“Deeper is about that uncontainable love, the kind of love that makes you feel as though you are going to burst.
“The Deeper I keep it in, the more it grows inside”. She said
Holly worked with Mondli Ngcobo, a producer, to ensure the song was production was a success. She also credits him and holds the work he did with high regard.
“I have so much respect for Mondli’s work and we always work from scratch in the studio which is a great formula for success.”
She hopes the song would go international and also gain and attract an international audience.
“I am hoping that we can translate into an international market. I am also hoping to lay the foundation for what is to come with new music.
“Still working on existing material and recording new material and once “Deeper” has created the right foundation I will start releasing more music.”

Holly Rey became the first woman to take home the SAMA ‘Record of the Year’ award in 20 Years when ‘Deeper’ was named the winner of the highly-coveted category at the 25th annual South African Music Awards.
