The Malawian-born artist is a singer, producer, and songwriter. The Don’t BAB hitmaker is making a wave in the industry.
Being signed to the independent record label, Family Tree Records has helped his music profession to a large extent.
He has worked with several big artists in the South African industry including Telleman and Nasty C.
In 2019, they had a collaboration that made the production of the hit song Right Now a success.

Gemini Major was given the name Benn Gilbert Kamoto following his birth on 14 June 1990 in Blantyre, Malawi.
He completed his high school academic pursuit in 2007. He recorded two notable successes in 2009, the year he graduated in I.T and relocated to Durban in South Africa.
Gemini Major had to move to the new location to focus more on his music pursuit.
He dreamt of being an artist and record producer, the next step was to make it a reality.
He then made it a reality with time and boasts of producing for many artists. As a producer, he has covered several genres including hip-hop, house, dancehall, pop, gospel, and R&B.
The popular producer’s portfolio includes several productions used in television shows.
Geminin Major’s portfolio has been used on Forever Young, Mo Love, and Gold Diggers.
He relocated to the city of Joburg following the opportunity to meet with the music heavyweight Cassper Nyovest.
He met with Cassper at a video shoot for a song produced by Major.
Following the release of the hit song Juice Back by Nasty C, he skyrocketed to “go-to producers for many top hip hop artists.
Gemini received a nomination for his impressive performance in 2015.
He was nominated alongside Tweezy, Ganja Beats, Anatii, and Riky Rick for Producer of the Year at the South Africa Hip Hop Awards.
In September 2017, the popular artist dropped a single titled Church.

The Malawi-born artist Gemini Major was dating Rowlene, a fellow artist. He and the upcoming star’s relationship did not last long after they parted ways after two years together.
In an interview session, his girlfriend mentioned some of his attributes that may have contributed to the breakup.
She said that the producer was possessive and attached almost. She wasn’t allowed to see other people but he was.
