Danielle Retief (born on 10 July 1991 in Johannesburg) is a South African actress, dancer, and singer. Her acting profession walked her into the spotlight.
In 2003, she joined the cast of Song vir Katryn as Marelie Beukes. She played the role in the kykNET drama series for a year until 2004.

She was born Danielle Retief on 10 July 1991 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her family may have influenced her love for arts to a great extent, her parents and grandfather were filmmakers and actors.
Speaking of her first lead role in the industry, Dannielle landed the role when she was a girl. The character is a girl who turned her brother into an egg.
Appearing in the production My Brother the Egg in 2001 to a great extent revealed that the talent runs in her veins.
In 2009, Danielle completed her high school education with distinctions in all her subjects (9). These subjects ranged from English, Mathematics, and Art. She had studied Classical Piano at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
She has also appeared in other television shows. Danielle landed an acting role in the Song vir Katryn. She was cast as Marelie in the kykNET series.
She also appeared in the popular series 7de Laan. She has also appeared in several productions including Phoebe in As You Like It.
Other of Danielle’s theatre credits include Elana in Van Aardes van Grootoor and Ophelia in Hamlet.
She was able to improve her experience as an actor and writer by participating in several student films.
Danielle returned to play a recurring role in 7de Laan. On the show, she portrayed the role of Nikki Basson, daughter of DeWet Basson.
She appeared first in the show on February 10, 2020, which happens to be on a Monday.
Danielle has also landed a cameo on Rhythm City. She was cast as a client on the e.tv soap opera in season 14, Episode 241.
She was cast as Board Member 1 in the Netflix paranormal movie Dead Places.
