Chris Obure (born Christopher Mogere Obure; 1st January 1943 in Boigesa Village) is a Kenyan politician. He is a member of the Orange Democratic Movement.
He became the representative of Bobasi Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya. Chris was elected into the position after the parliamentary election in 2017.

Chris is a party member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), he was the Financial Minister under the presidency of Daniel Moi.
Chris had his high school education at Kisii High School, he also got his A-level certificate from the institution.
He furthered the pursuit of his academic career at the University of Nairobi. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
