Buhle Samuels (born 25 May 1990 in Soweto) is a South Africa actress and television presenter. She is popular for playing the role of Matshidiso Mofokeng on Muvhango, an SABC 2 flagship soapie.

Her older sister is Mbali Samuels, and her mother works as a nurse in Saudi Arabia. Buhle is the youngest of three (3) children, she has two (2) older sisters.
The actress has taken to social media to reveal her ideal man. She told True Love Mag that keeping her private life out of the limelight is the only way to deal with a relationship as an actress.
“My private life is the only thing that belongs to me. I don’t expect people to understand it, and I don’t want them to. So I don’t discuss anything concerning that part of my life,” she said.
But further revealed that her ideal man is a “down to earth, ethical guy. The actress further says that he must be full of respect and kind.
“My ideal man, however, is a down-to-earth, ethical guy. He has to be respectful and kind.”
A while ago, she claimed that a man identified as Paul Dominick (44) reached out to her for sexual favors. She shamed the man after receiving an email requesting a night of pleasure and in return would pay her R250,000.
Angry Buhle decided to take the screenshot of the email sent by the 44-year-old. Buhle made it clear that “she was not for sale” and further stated that men quit objectifying women.
Aside from Buhle’s acting career she is a singer and is signed under Arthur Mafokate’s 999. She is also among the best dancers in South Africa.
She was a host on a breakfast show on Africa Magic. In 2014 she cast Matshidiso Mofokeng on Muvhango, an SABC2 soapie opera.
She shared in an interview session that she enjoyed playing Matshidiso, Buhle says the character is the opposite of her in real-life. She also would love to be a director and work behind the scenes.
She played the role for four years after which she left the show. Buhle left the show to experience change and adventure. She further says that she had to leave to take the chance to work on her music career.
Buhle received a nomination for her role in Muvhango at the 2nd Annual Royalty Soapie Awards (2015) for “Best Newcomer”. Izak Davel who plays Bradley Haines on Isidingo took home the award.
Though the character, Matshidiso Mofokeng, was loved by fans despite her mean personality.
Buhle later in 2019 landed a role in an e.tv show Imbewu: The Seed and portrayed the role of Zandile.
She also made it to the cast of Kings Of Jo’burg, Netflix production, and played the role of Angela Masire. Her character in the African series production is a gorgeous and supportive wife to her husband.
Buhle enjoys attending dance fitness classes which evidently keep her body fit. The television presenter often shares her sessions on social media.
