Bucy’s family played a credible role in influencing her love for music. She started to sing when was just 3 years old.
Her family is a musical one, the popular songstress joined Mafumbuka primary school choral choir in 1997 when she was ten.
When she was done with her primary school education, she started her high school education at the Botse Botse high school.
In high school, her love for music grew even stronger, Bucy joined AFM, House of Praise in Mabopane. She actively participated in all the music activities.
In 2007, she became a member of Kopano Chorus and the following year, in 2008, Bucy joined Opera Africa.
Bucy has done productions for several brands including Aida, Princess Magogo, La-Bohem. She also did for La-Traviata, Carmen, Requiem CMass, and Ziyankomo.
In 2012, she performed at the SA youth award, she began working with Tebs David. He connected her and other singers to Apostle Solly Mahlangu.
From 2013 to date, they have become a backing vocalist for the artist.
Mahlangu and Bucy have gone to several African countries including Zimbabwe, and Swaziland.
They have also held performances in Botswana, Lesotho, Tanzania, Kenyan, and Rwanda.
She also backed the artist on Takie’s first album titled ‘Realibua Jesu’. Bucy joined the “Spirit of Praise 7 choir” in 2018.
