Brenda Mhlongo (born on 14 August 1980) is a South African actress, singer, and dancer. She became famous for landing the role of Mam Ngwenya on eKasi: Our Stories.
She is also a household name for playing the role of ‘Nandi Mabaso’ on Generations.

She trended her exit from the ‘Generations The Legacy’, an SABC1 soapie.
She joined the drama series a few years ago, Brenda played the role of Nandi, the wife to Jack Mabaso.
The popular actress credits her acting success to her ‘great personality’.
She has captured the heart of many South African viewers after landing the show. She “refuted the claims that the producers of the show fired her”.
In an interview with DRUM magazine, Brenda shared that her contract was not renewed. Her reason was that “her role came to an end”.
Upon leaving the show, she returned to building her foundation the ‘Brenda Mhlongo Worldwide Foundation’.
She earlier put the project on hold after she began acting on generations.
