Altovise Lawrence (born 14 March 1991) is a South African actress, presenter, MC, and creator. Her acting profession brought her to the limelight.

Education
Lawrence holds honors from the University of Witwatersrand with a Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Arts (2013).
Career
In 2014, she kicked off her acting profession in The Colored Museum. The play was directed by James Ngcobo and ran for a month (January to February) at the Market Theatre.
Her debut appearance on TV was in a minor role in late 2014. She was cast as an interviewee in Isidingo, an SABC3 soap opera.
In April 2015, she was among the twelve aspiring actors who competed for an R100K prize and agency representation in Top Actor. The show is BET Africa’s first SA original production and it was launched on DStv.
She came out of the competition victorious after defeating Francois Jacobs and Nicolas Nkuna in the finale. The Restless Talent Management signed her.
In early 2016, she made it as a cast in Scandal. She played the role of Chantal in the e.tv soap opera. In 2021, Lawrence appeared in the Netflix series Dead Places playing the role of Max. She also appeared in the Netflix series starred by Pearl Thusi titled Queen Sono. She played a guest-starring role.
